Dr Craig Hannah - Hannah and Armitage Dental Practice

Craig graduated from The University of Glasgow in 1992 and he has been delivering high quality, private dental care since. He spent 10 years working in private practice in Greenock, where he was able to develop his interest in orthodontics, dento-facial orthopaedics and occlusion.

Craig is a respected private dentist in Glasgow’s West End providing private dental care for over 20 years at 44 Lawrence Street. He joined the practice in 2001 as Principal Dentist. He is an experienced dental surgeon providing specialist care in restorative dentistry, preventative care, diagnosis, treatment planning and surgical procedures. He has a special interest in complex restorative dentistry and digital dentistry, namely, CEREC. He completed a CEREC Master’s course in 2007. Private practice has allowed Craig to use the most innovative techniques and the highest quality of materials to ensure the best care for his patients.

Outside of dentistry, Craig enjoys spending time with his family; his wife Helen and two children, Sarah and Finlay. He enjoys cycling, cooking, music and DJing.

I first joined the practice as a patient in my teens when my parents took the decision to move us and since then it has very much become a family affair. Craig has continued to treat my parents over the years, even driving over to my parents’ house during COVID to hand in some much needed medication to my Dad. He has looked after my three children with great care and empathy and has afforded the same care to my sister and her family. The staff at the practice are wonderful and it always feels like visiting family friends, I couldn’t imagine having better care anywhere else. Thank you.

I attended the same dental practice for over 50 years. On my last regular six-monthly examination, the dentist informed me that my teeth were badly worn and didn’t know what treatment to propose or recommend. Did I mind if my teeth were photographed for a discussion with other dentists in the practice. I was absolutely shocked by that diagnosis.

A friend suggested that I contact his dentist Craig Hannah, which thankfully I did. Craig explained that my teeth were seriously worn and broken in places and although it was a significant challenge they could be treated and repaired back to their original appearance. He produced a four phased treatment plan for the option that I selected.

My teeth were increased in height. The broken and badly worn teeth were crowned (10 in all) and my whole mouth has been rejuvenated. I now have my youthful smile back and I am overly delighted with the outcome.

I appreciate it was a major undertaking, but I am truly impressed with the skills and experience that Craig possesses. I wish to thank Craig and his dental nursing assistant for their patience and care during my long treatment periods.
